Slow and never enough staff...
I've been a member here for nearly 2 years now and have never had an issue with customer service. The staff is amazing and extremely helpful. Online banking is superb and very easily navigated. Top notch fraud department. Not planning on banking anywhere else.
Never open any account here !!! You’ll regret for sure. First of all , they don’t have branches except a few towns. If you move out of state or city , you’ll be screwed and they’ll bill ou monthly just because you can’t use the debit card. They charged monthly $200 without sending me notice. This bank rips off all Americans!!! They also sold my debt to collection ! My credit score went negative just because I couldn’t use their debit card. There are many much better banks than Ornl !! Don’t waste your time with them..,
This year I have been an ORNLFCU member for 9 years and 11 months. I have had absolutely nothing but positive experiences to share. Customer service is always warm and friendly. I never have to wait in line for very long. Loans process is great. Online banking is A+. I just recently purchased two cars through ORNL and have had nothing but excellent experiences. I don't think I have paid a fee in years. I go into the credit union about once every three months and it seems as if everyone there always remembers and the service is very consistent. I will no longer even consider banking with any other company. I hope to be with ORNL for another 40 years.
I had an auto loan through them and had one late payment but paid the loan off and in good standings. Went to get another loan from them and was denied. Even after paying my loan off??? Wouldn't advise anyone to use this credit union. Don't be loyal to a place who isn't loyal to there customers. There are to many credit unions out there besides this one.
