OH MY GOODNESS!!! This place is EXCELLENT!!! The service is quick and very warm. The food is excellent and you can order a refill on your sides which is a nice bang for you buck! Each meal always comes with a little something extra and their apple butter is phenomenal! My family LOVED dining there. We will definitely be going back.
We came to the Apple Barn as recommendation from a friend, they demanded we pick them up some of the boxed apple fritter mix from the gift shop if we came within 50 miles of this place so we decided to give it a go! There was about an hour wait when we came (middle of dinner rush) and so we sat out on the porch and watched the cars go by. (We ate at the country restaurant, not the grill portion as they are basically two different restaurants on the premise) You are served apple fritters with apple butter with your drinks (the apple butter will not disappoint) Next your entree's come with a family style side. So you order sides as usual but when they come out they are in a share portion that is refillable. (this applies to the sides only) I ordered meatloaf which was pretty good, and the hubby had the whole trout. The flavor of the fish was AMAZING. I dont normally eat bone in fish but would absolutely order it again! We took some apple cider home from the gift shop and I wish we'd gotten more. If you're looking for a leisurely evening and dinner, Id definitely try this place out!

The Apple barn has been a favorite of ours for more than 30 years. Fresh homemade Apple pies of all sorts daily. My favorite is the caramel apple nut pie with homemade vanilla bean ice cream. My husband and daughter prefer the fried Apple pies with vanilla ice cream. They also have hot or frozen Apple cider. Not to mention the shopping and educational experiences. The old fashion store is a barn with everything Apple and lots more. You can watch the staff make the pies and ice cream, visit the candy shop, walk the orchard, or visit either of the 2 Applewood restaurants.
Call it nostalgia, or a cinnamon apple coma, but this place makes my heart warm and belly full. We have been coming here for nearly 30 years, and the Apple Barn is amazing in every season.
Always one of my favorite stops on our trip! Lots of apple decor. Be sure to take some of their delicious apples home with you. We always grab a jar or 2 of their fried apples, applesauce and apple butter. They are so good. The staff is also so friendly and eager to answer any questions. Be sure to go to the bakery and creamery. They have the best mini muffins around.
