I tried to file a civil suit this morning and was told there would be advocates or lawyers to help with paperwork. Walking to the window to get necessary paperwork, these 4 women just stared at me like I was a criminal. I asked for anyone to help here, nope, go to an attorney around the corner, oh, like one that charges hundreds of dollars an hour? Yes, that was ruled out immediately, then went back in to get more paperwork 4 HOURS LATER and was told THERE ARE NO JUDGES THERE FOR THE WHOLE WEEK! REALLY??!! It didn't dawn on you to TELL ME THIS THE FIRST VISIT?? All the people there have the same "well you must be a loser" attitude from the get go and treat you like you are! no one was nice, or pleasant at least, no one offered pertinent information that would have been extremely helpful, WHAT IS JUSTICE WHEN YOU CAN'T EVEN WALK THROUGH THE DOORS??? No wonder the idiot meth heads and drunks can continue to win!!
Probating a will is a con game on the public. Rather than allowing a citizen to handle all aspects of opening and closing probate, the office will only accept probate forms from a lawyer, thus compelling the citizen to hire and pay a lawyer $$$ for what he or she could do for themselves. And these political people dare to call themselves public servants....
I bound a charge over in Feb 2017 came to court on the date on the piece of paper they gave me to find out they had issued a capias in March when I didn't show up for court despite the date on the paper said May. Lol
ThIs place is a JOKE! The women working in registration and titles are beyond rude and flat out stupid. I had a car bought from another person here in Gatlinburg but their car was registered in another state. The clerks office told me and refused to put the title in my name without a notary. Then I took it to another clerks office in another county and had absolutely no problems with getting it put in my name. I've seen rocks smarter than these morons. If you're anywhere on the outside of downtown Sevierville they will tell you you live in Jefferson City for some reason. These people don't even know their own streets and areas. It is almost laughable how they treat people. They think they are some form of God. Thank GOD for the surrounding county clerks offices that were such a help!
No words to describe the place. Its just a shame most of the public has to go there to take care of business.
