A nice aviation museum with several aircraft that actually still get out and fly. I really enjoyed the exhibit about military chaplains and also learning more about those in the Tennessee Aviation Hall of Fame. For me I found the staff to be conversational and actually quite friendly which was contrary to a few recent reviews.
I am highly interested in world war 2 . Love the p-47 thunderbolt ( nicknamed the jug) for a small museum they have quite a bit Including some cockpits of planes from tv shows like the A team and the one P47 called " Hun Hunter" it was on ww2 documentary called Thunderbolt, about the air corps fighting in Italy loved every minute of it
It would have been a great experience except for the female clerk with a holier than thou attitude! She acted like she was the pilot of the flight line!
Cheap and worth the experience certainly. One could spend anywhere from 20 minutes to an hour here. Dependant on ones level of interest.
Museum was wonderful ! Exhibit were displayed well and interesting ! We had a volunteer guide who was friendly and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend a visit.
