The WORST post office I have ever been to. It's well known among the locals that this place is horrible and has been for as long as I can remember. EVERY single time I have to go inside to mail something, the workers are extremely rude. Other words come to mind. . .Bottom line, DON'T GO HERE. I wish 0 stars was an option. If you're in Sevier county, go to the Gatlinburg post office.
Very slow service, I had a check sent out to me within the SAME CITY, and it took over a week to get to me. Very disappointed!
I've been going to this post office for a year now, and I've had nothing but excellent service. Yes, they can be busy, but that's understandable. The clerks are always friendly and helpful. Of course, I never go in there with a rotten attitude. I'm guessing people who've had issues must be jerks and get what they deserve. (You get back what you give.) Also, I've never not gotten my mail or gotten someone else's mail. A+++, Sevierville post office!!!
If I could leave 0 stars, I would. The man I dealt with was not friendly in the least. The amount of miscommunication in this place is ridiculous. My package wasn't delivered on the day it was supposed to be and there wasn't even a notice so I called to ask what happened. They asked if I had a mailbox.....yes....yes, I do. They weren't sure why it wasn't delivered but said it was at the post office and I could come get it or they could try to redeliver. I said I would come get it. I waited in line for the guy to ask me, "Do you have a mailbox."......yep...I have a mailbox. I told him I spoke to a woman that told me it was there. He asked if I remembered her name and I said no. He said well that doesn't help me at all. Finally, he comes back to tell me I was given misinformation and it was taken out by the wrong carrier yesterday so it was out for delivery today. Another woman beside me was dealing with the same thing...no reason for not delivering and no notice in her mailbox. They asked her if she had a mailbox...lol
There worst post office I've ever been to or had deliver mail. Stuff gets sorted wrong all the time, mail gets misplaced and packages are late on a regular basis because most of the staff are morons. There are a couple that are good but they can't offset the rest. NEEDS A NEW POST MASTER!!!!
