this couldn't have been a better place too take my honeymoon the staff and towns people was extremely nice will be going back often
We paid less for the cabin for a Monday-Friday stay than what we would have paid for a hotel room cooped up with two teenagers! The cabin was beautiful and clean, well-stocked, and in a gorgeous location. It was a little far from town (took about 20 minutes to drive down into Sevierville or Pigeon Forge), but the peace and tranquility of being away from it all at night was well worth it! The staff are very friendly and helpful! We will definitely stay there again if we ever travel back to eastern Tennessee!
WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!! We drove cross country to stay here and when we got there we found another family in the cabin we rented. We called the owner and all she said was sorry theres nothing I can do. She will steal from you too. GO FIND A MORE RESPECTABLE COMPANY!!!
We have always loved cabin rentals in the smokies, but would never have done it again if this had been our first! We stayed in Snugglers Cove, which we were told was about 5 miles back behind Dollywood. Hahaha! The gas fireplace did not work, the towels are almost all sour, EVERYTHING is covered with dust, and the sides of the refrigerator are covered in some sort of spatter that appears to have lived here for quite some time. Additionally, someone has been in the hot tub covered in some sort of oil, and it was obviously not checked before we checked in. There were 2 completely burnt tealight shells in the candleholders by the tub along with a stick lighter that could be used to light candles the owners no longer provide (according to the huge book of rules), so we aren't sure if this was just someone else's mess that "housekeeping"chose to leave for us? One thing for sure, when we tried to call them back after check in, they already had our money, so why answer the phone, right? I will never do a last minute cabin rental again when coming back to the area. We paid twice the normal price for a smaller, dirty cabin. Very disappointed. I hope they start using the "cleaning fee" for actual cleaning!
WONDERFUL! My wife and I were on our honeymoon this past week, and we had an awful stay with Legacy Resort, we ended up having to get a refund and had no where to go. We found Smokey Mountain Escapes online and called and they had one more cabin available. They could not have been nicer to us, they got the cabin ready in a very timely fashion and we were checked in and loving it in no time. And the best part was we saved $1000 staying there as opposed to Legacy!! And the cabin was nicer! Very cozy! We chose a one bedroom honeymoon cabin called Little Smokey Secret, it is similar to Little Smokey Dream, which is featured on their website. It had an AMAZING view! I will definitely stay with them again, and have already suggested their cabins to several friends and family members who were impressed when I showed them pictures. Bravo on being a great business and making people happy! :)
