The chairs were severely worn out. Neither of us are big people, and I am actually a smaller size , and we were sitting on the wooden frame because the cushion area was disintegrated.
My husband and I enjoy a local romantic dining spot about once a week. On our annual trip to the mountains, we decided to try Bistro 109. Mistakenly, I compared it to our local spot and I was extremely disappointed in several aspects:
The Spinach Dip appetizer was more cream than anything. Homemade chips were good.
Poor service, with no prices shown, the waitress should have asked what size we wanted. $49 EACH later...
We both chose filet as our entrees, no price listed for this item but we didn't think anything about it, that was normal at times. Waitress didn't ask if we wanted 12oz or 6oz and assumed we both wanted 12 oz (2-6oz filets). Size wise, I couldn't even finish 6 oz. The meat (cooked med rare) was also very tough to cut.
One of the finest dining spots in the area. Don't pass this place by to get to the corporate chains. Staff friendly every single time I have been there and the food was phenomenal. An exceptional dining experience. It is a must for my family and customers when in the area.
Would not go again. Very overpriced. Steak good cake for dessert cold with hard icing. Obviously just came out of the freezer. Waitress brought cream for coffee in a small pot used for tea water
Black and white decor makes this place so stylish. Owner is so nice, services is exceptional and food is beyond amazing
Romantic atmosphere, amazingly delicious cuisine, all fresh ingredients. I highly recommend giving this place a try. Grab a groupon before you go, it is 100% worth it
Green beans were canned and the mashed potatoes were average.
..she had no pitcher. Cream went all over the table. She just shrugged. She should not be waitress in this type of establishment. Needs more trai ing. Will say decor lovely.
