I switched to Hometown from UT and I have had great experiences here. My son was having a lot of health issues and they got into the specialist extremely fast. Doctor Johnson and Doctor Salansky have been so great with my son. His nurses are amazing.

We switched to Hometown Peds from Boys & Girls after recommendations from friends. They see all 3 of our children now. We've probably seen every doctor there at this point but our favorite is Roger. No problem with any of them, though. I've seen some complaints about Heather Polk on here but I just see her as no nonsense and to the point so I don't have an issue with her. I have never had the front desk staff be anything but friendly to me and the nurses are great as well. One thing I really like about them, and the reason I switched from Boys and Girls actually, is they don't just throw antibiotics at your kids every time they sniffle. Definitely the best pediatrics practice around!

While the Dr.'s have always been very helpful, there seems to be some serious over scheduling and under staffing going on. Just my opinion. Waiting 1- 2 hours for your appointment, finding out that you take time off work for a scheduled appointment that was scheduled on the wrong day and there is zero willingness to fix an error made on the staffs part, all should be looked into. Hire more staff, treat your people better.

Never are the staff rude. I'll bet those on here were the rude ones. One poster will take his kid to leconte over here. Oh boy not to smart of a parent. This place is perfectly fine. I've been going here for years. Never had half the pathetic complaints most these folks have. Nor have I ever had not one employee of theirs ever be rude. Some folks you can't make happy reguardless. This place is great. Ignore the petty complaints.

My son was a patient here for 2 and a half years.. the first year wasn’t that bad but he had pneumonia 3 times in 2016 and it could have been caught before we had to go to the hospital but heather dismissed it as a cold which I can understand bc he only had a fever as a symptom but then after the 1st time he had it they could have been more thorough to make sure.. they are unprofessional and the front desk isn’t that great either. The wait time is RIDICULOUS. There’s been other multiple problems there. The only dr that I would recommend there is ROGER JOHNSON. If you are looking for a new pediatrician I HIGHLY recommend kids choice in Seymour if they accept it. It’s like night and day comparing the 2 offices... I feel like the doctors at Hometown didn’t interact with the kids to make them comfortable either.
