Today, the "office manager" doesn't seem to give a rat's patoot about the fact that come Sunday, I will be out of the meds that I've been on for over 4 years. She seems to think that it was my responsibility to tell Peninsula when I had to see the doc, not theirs (to inform me to make an appt.). Three weeks ago, the "nurse" or replacement for their nurse, seemed to find no problem with my submission for meds.
Three weeks ago, it was not a problem, at least I was never told it was a problem, or that I had to see the doc again before they would re-submit for my meds or provide samples until my meds arrived. NO ONE CARED TO MENTION ANYTHING!
After being told to re-submit my application for meds twice, I went into this office to check on the status, since it had been 3 weeks & I had not heard back from anyone at Peninsula. My meds are almost gone.
No one cared about the fact that unless I find an empathetic psychiatrist within a few days, I will be going off a 4 year med cold turkey (which is highly recommended AGAINST).

First time seeking out mental help for anxiety and depression. I met with Mike quite a few times and he never made me feel comfortable or safe. He made rude faces at me. He even told me that I wasn't describing my anxiety like other patients do. I have never felt more disrespected by a medical "professional" in my life. I am currently still afraid to get back out there and find someone who would maybe actually be able to help me. Thanks, Mike.(Sevierville office)
If you want cold, uncaring treatment & no concern over your mental or physical well being, go visit the lovely folks at this clinic. If you want a caring physician & help during mental health and/or medicinal problem, seek help elsewhere!
This place gives great metal health care as well as counseling....just wish i could get in direct contact with the local office without calling Knoxville everytime....
