Came from the airport and on the road all day. I booked and arrived to my reservations at Econo Lodge with my two dogs.
Honestly, this hotel is in a wonderful location, right off Parkway, which makes it convenient, but not too busy that it keeps you up at night. But since that doesn’t keep you up at night, expect the slamming of doors to. Every time any of our hotel neighbors left their rooms, you could hear the door slam. It also doesn’t help that the gap under the main bedroom door is about an inch off the ground, which is kind of unsettling, but manageable if you shove a towel under the door. The price for this hotel is super reasonable. I’ll definitely being staying here again
Very impressed! Clean, friendly, + a great breakfast for the price! The rooms are also very modern. Definitely recommend.
Guys as a person who loves to travel, I ask you not to make the same mistake. Call the hotel your booking with in advance if you have a dog, cat, or any pet you book with to make sure your given the warm welcome to any town you visit. Happy Holidays.
Clean, good breakfast. Yes it is loud because of the tile floors but I bring my fan everywhere so I was sleeping just fine. I love the new remodel it is modern and looks beautiful. The room layout was awesome. Awesome coffee! Some sound dampening in the hallway, maybe some stripping under the doors and making the stairway doors close quieter would go a long way. All in all I am very happy!!!
The rooms have been updated and look fabulous!! The staff was very helpful and courteous, as always. The lobby has had such a makeover I thought I was at the wrong place, I have used this hotel yearly and will keep on using it......the looks have changed but the prices have NOT gone up! Big plus is Starbucks is on one side and Cracker Barrel on the other ☺
The website I booked the room with says "Pet Friendly". I had to reschedule a new hotel booking standing on the street with two dog's in hand calling many local hotels who would accept my circumstances plus having to pay twice more than my original price listing and not being able to look foward to continental breakfast in the morning. It's a shame because is Christmas holidays. I wasn't expecting that.
My animals are well behaved and trained but because one of my friends is over a weight limit, I was turned away. My reservations were canceled on the spot. The two days I planned to stay were turned to a NOT WELCOMED. Not only did I feel humiliating but as a customer, I thought and felt wrong about this happening, It felt horrible.
We are also active military, imagine what veterans who serve this country feel like when they retire and end up being given a cancelled room on the spot.
