Coffee is about $3 cup so don't be surprised. Really can be very crowded at times though so expect a wait even as fast as they seat people.
It's decent. The specialty and seasonal items as always are really good.service is good.
The breakfast sampler, five gallon bucket "fried" apples and wall paper paste gravy and biscuits are an insult to real mountain folk though. Yuck.
Always enjoy our time here. My advice: take your time and enjoy. This isn't fast food. They take their time cooking the food and it is great.
Our experience was great. It was a late dinner, about 9pm (I think they closed at 10). Our food was typical old fashioned country fare. Pretty good food. The price for 2 adults and 2 kids was $38 before tip. Our server was Chris. He was fantastic, best we have had anywhere in a long time. He has a five star apron for a reason. GREAT JOB!!!
Go there often. Food is great and waitresses are usually right there...unless its crowded..then you need to cut them some slack. The all try very hard to be really good.
Danny was one of the best servers we have ever had. And ive been in the restaurant business over 20 years! Great employee!
