This is by far one of my favorite places to go! Me and my family went in for a quick bite to go and left with one of the most fun, energetic, down to earth experiences! This place offers an off beat personality with what some of the nicest, down home sweetest staffs you will ever meet. You really get the full diner experience with waitresses who made our experience the most memorable. My kids loved the "diner rat" oh, and did I mention the food? The burger was so huge and was so delicious! My kids enjoyed every bit of their food. Before I leave, I will visit them for breakfast!
Pancakes at this place are on point! They don’t get soggy after 2 minutes like at Bob evans. Bacon cooked to perfection. Good old gospel songs or oldies on the jukebox. It’s a cool diner experience. Best coffee too!
In the area for our wedding. My husband and I went in for breakfast yesterday and loved it so much we went back for dinner. Food is excellent with large portions, staff for both meals friendly and attentive. Guess where we are going for breakfast today? Yes back to THE DINER! this will be our new go to place on our future trips to the area.
Very nice place to eat. Takes you back in time with a wide selection to choose from. Christian based and the owner makes you feel like family. We make it a point to come here every time we visit!
Overall, our experience was so-so. We waited a while to be seated (5-10 minutes) even though seats were empty and eventually I had to ask a passing waitress to get a seat. The onion rings are very good. The hamburgers we had were ordered to be cooked to "medium" but both of ours were well, well done to the point of being very tough. The avocado on my burger was not ripe at all and was like chewing a piece of plastic. The waitress we had was very nice and did a great job. The waitress we had and the onion rings are the only reason this is a three star rating.
